The context in which a word or a phrase is used is vital for localising it in any language. A word or phrase might mean different things in different contexts and business domains.
For example, “play” would be interpreted differently in sports, music, and theatre.
Reverie’s LaaS platform is designed to understand the context before converting content from one language to another, in real time.
Real-time contextual content conversion
The LaaS platform performs real-time content conversion from one language to another through domain-intelligent and context-aware APIs. These APIs can be used for accurate conversion of product and brand names, categories, product attributes, addresses, alerts, messages, and so on, from English to a preferred local language.
The LaaS platform supports various categories, which are periodically updated. Currently, it supports the following domain-specific vocabulary categories:
- Food and groceries
Because the LaaS platform is domain intelligent, supporting multiple domains leads to high accuracy.
Highly accurate outcome
The LaaS platform is designed to provide accurate results for content transformation. The level of accuracy is even higher for the optimised categories (abovementioned domains). In addition, the platform is designed to be self-learning—meaning, the more the end-users, the greater the level of accuracy.
Scalable, high-performance platform
The LaaS platform supports 10,000 TPS with an average response time of less than 15ms, which can be scaled up on demand. The platform is continually optimised for achieving high performance and for minimising latency.
Highly secure communication
The LaaS server is hosted on AWS, and the communication is through HTTPS. The API calls over network are identified by secure API keys generated by the LaaS platform.
Flexible license manager
The APIs are accessible through a license key generated by the LaaS platform. The license manager is flexible and granular considering the number of words, time-frame, domain, platform, components and APIs at the app level.
Pricing for the LaaS platform is pay-per-use, based on the number of words processed by the platform per month.
Currently, the LaaS platform supports the following Indian languages:
